Preemptive I told you so

Russia delivers air defense system to Iran

I've come to a realization.  My grousing about the goings on in DC and in the world serve no purpose other than to upset me.  It has become blatantly obvious that our "leadership" has no intention of winning this war.  They are going to ignore the threat until we are at Cold War footing again, and I am going to laugh.

When we start seeing car bombs and IEDs in the United States, all you will hear from me is "I told you so."  We have refused to do what is necessary to decimate our enemies, and we will pay the price for that.

Gee.  I wonder what Iran needs an air defense system for?

Open Letter to Ken Mehlman

Be advised:  Navy NCO-style butt chewing to follow.  Strong language alert!

I heard about Ken Mehlman's comments on Fox News today, and I've got to tell you they got me hopping mad.  I've about had it with this candy assed party.

I will tell you, as a life long conservative, why you morons lost.  It has nothing to do with your not being "bipartisan" enough.  In fact it has to do with the fact that you were "bipartisan" too damned much!  The congress passed, and Bush signed legislation that each knew damn good and well to be detrimental to the country and in come cases down right unconstitutional.  Both the White House and congress totally ignored the issues of protecting marriage and illegal immigration, the latter being the straw that broke the elephant's back.

You a**holes had control of both houses of congress for TWELVE F-ING YEARS and control of two branches of governemtn for six, and in all of that time you neglected to do what it was we sent you there to do.  Well, as Gen. George S. Patton said to a colonel who could not accomplish his mission, "If you can't get the job done, I'll get somebody who can."

It positively PISSES ME OFF that you clowns had so many great opportunities, and you frittered them away.  You behaved like you were still in the minority and you actually needed the Democrats to accomplish our goals.  Then you allowed a small group of RINOs to set the tone for the ENTIRE F-ING PARTY!  You could have steamrolled over the liberals with our agenda, and you could have brought those RINOs in line with a little arm twisting, but nooooo.  You decided that that wouldn't be "nice."  Well, this election is what being nice gets you, Ken.

As a life long member of the Republican party, I am demanding your resignation.  You snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.  You are not fit to lead this party, as it is blatantly obvious that you have a goal of less than total victory in mind.

On The Election

Well. My thoughts on the election. First off, I think that it is a fresh opportunity for the Republicans. Those that occupied the Senate lacked the intestinal fortitude to advance the conservative agenda, and that cost them, and unfortunately many others, the election. The Republican base issued a loud and clear message to the goldbricks in congress by staying home in droves, and that message was, “If you can't do the job, we will find somebody who will.” Or, as Trump puts it, “You're fired.” The sluggards and cowards in the Senate, along with the President in many cases, bucked the base one too many times and only moved closer to us when they wanted something. That's not going to get you votes, boys and girls. Like the Democrats in the war on terror, the “moderate” Republicans just didn't have the will to win. Illegal immigration was the straw that broke the elephant's back. We wanted something done, and it didn't get that way. Even now the White House is looking very forward to passing the amnesty bill, and we can be assured that the 700 miles of fence that was previously voted in will never see a penny of funding.

Could the base have handled this little rebellion better? Perhaps. We could have tried to take the RINOs out in the primaries, but, in all honesty, pickin's are always pretty slim there. The primaries tend to have only one viable candidate and a bunch of loonies that make me look like Michael Moore. Hence, starting right here and now, we need to begin grooming some fresh blood for runs against some of our old wood. If we can get strong leaders past the primaries we will have no problem getting them elected to national office.

Another good thing that came from this election was that the Democrats will be able to run roughshod all over the country, assuming the remaining Republicans are still the spineless jellyfish they have been these past four years. The Dems can do a lot of damage in two years, and the whole country is going to get a good taste of it. National defense will suffer (I hear they are already talking about cutting the military budget). Seriously, what does it say about a party when al Quaeda and Iran are celebrating the election victory as if it were their own? Taxes will increase, which will stall the economy. The liberal special interests will have free reign over education, energy policy (OPEC will have us over the proverbial barrel of oil), and the economy just to name a few.

Unless the rank and file Democrats get a handle on the radicals that are still controlling the show, which I sincerely hope happens, the radicals will complete the slow suicide of the party. The Dems need more guys like Obama and Lieberman. They need to ignore the likes of Kennedy, Ried, and Kerry, who cater only to themselves and their extremist pals and not their constituents. If the grass roots Dems don't clean house, their Marxist buddies are going to run their party into the ground. They are already hemorrhaging votes from the Blacks, Christians, and Hispanic sectors, because of their staunch defense of abortion and gay marriage, and their treatment of Lieberman shows just how they feel about moderates in their midst. If they can't pull it together, the Republicans are going to be right back in two years with conservatives that aren't afraid of a little political ruff-and-tumble.

A Sorry Apology

Kerry "apologieses" to troops

"I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform and I personally apologize to any service member, family member or American who was offended,"

Now does that sound like an apology to anybody else out there?  "I'm so very sorry that you people were so stupid that you couldn't understand what I was saying."  That's what his so-called apology means.

Well allow me to respond, Mr. Kerry.  You can take your sorry excuse for an apology and shove it up your gold plated aft.  You aren't worthy to eat the dirt my brothers and sisters are treading on.

Forward, forward, always forward!

I just wanted to give a big thank you to John Kerry.  There's no better gift that could have been given to conservatives than his elitist insult to the troops.

Being a veteran, his comment didn't really bother me, as it was coming from a coward and traitor.  Indeed, I have been very pleased since the 2000 elections.  The Democrats have slowly melted down to the point that even their leadership is in total hysteria, so much so that they have had to lock them all away to keep them from making their anti-American statements to the press a week before an election.

They are tired of hiding who they are.  They are ever so much smarter than us, and it's about time they let us know how much better they really are.  So many Marxist politicians and celebrities have said this past year that they are proud to be liberals; they are proud to be out of touch with mainstream America.  And I'm proud of them too.

They need to stand up loud and proud and declare to all of God's creation ... oops ... I mean, the planetary ecosystem, that they hate America; they want us to lose not only the war on terror, but every war; they want to raise our taxes, because they know better than we, how to spend our money; they want millions of unborn children murdered every year; they want the US to give up her sovereignty and join a global government run by unelected leaders from the UN.

This is stuff the American people need to hear.  I have some liberal friends, who, if they knew what their chosen party actually stood for, would switch sides.  Since we can't count on the Democrats to be honest, the job of unmasking them must fall to the Republicans, who have heretofore been playing this culture war by A-team rules (where one shoots at his opponent, but nobody actually gets hurt, they just get up and run away.)  The Republican leadership needs to start going on the offensive and never stop.

Gen George Patton said, "I don't want to get any messages saying that, "We are holding out position." We're not holding anything! Let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and we're not interested in holding on to anything except the enemy. We're going to hold on to him by the nose and we're going to kick him in the *ss; we're going to go through him like crap through a goose."

This Marquess of Queensbury politics has got to stop or we will lose.  So you Republican leaders better grow a pair, reach down and grab 'em, and lead us to victory!  The enemy is giving us everything we need to win, so get out there and win.
